Election Ads Finished, Both TV and Politics Back to Normal
It is so good to turn the television on and not see all those political ads, now I can watch Viagra and whiskey ads in peace. Local news was hard to figure out, some won who you thought would, other lost, hard to track. We kept a Dem for Gov, but got Rep for congress. I'll be waiting to see how long it is before it returns to normal. Just had 2 years of R's riding the D's, saying nothing will work, now they are in charge, see how long it takes this speaker to be accused of having a private agenda, of course he was the one making the accusations! We I take over things will be much smoother, just wait for it!

No Answer From Kratovil-Harris On Question But Harris Will Take My Money
So it's almost a month later, neither Harris of Kratovil have responded to my numerous emails asking which one of them is lying in their political ads. I for one find that very odd, and very interesting, are both of them lying? When I was a kid and my mother asked me if had done something and I hadn't I spilled my guts like Jimmy 6 toes ratting out the mob! These 2 are going at it like 2 little boys, figured one would fess up. Sent both of them this little note,
Was curious where to send donations, a mailing address? Thanks.
Heard back from Harris camp in 41 minutes!
Hello,
We received your inquiry about where to send a donation to Andy Harris's campaign. First of all, THANK YOU for your support!
Second of all, you can send it to the following address:
Andy Harris for Congress
P.O. Box 1527
Annapolis, MD 21404
Thank you very much. If you have any questions or would like any information, feel free to give us a call at (410) 609-3829.
I suppose I need to call him if I'm not communicating with my checkbook. At least Harris responded?

Kratovil-Harris Ingnoring A Constituent, and Political Ads Are Repulsive
Email I sent to Harris-Kratovil, still no answer to my original question, and these ads are ridiculous.
Enough with the commercials guys, especially the ones you didn't do. Make sure the winner does something abut this unending money flow for commercials, it's ridiculous!
Neither of you are going to respond to me about the question I asked about which one of you is lying about the 23% sales tax? Interesting that constituent questions mean absolutely nothing to you both, thanks.

Sex at the Rec Center, and Harris-Kratovil Still Not Responding To My Question
It was another beautiful day here, took my chair and went to the park, met a friend and sat. We had a good time, talked about our thoughts on life, had a few laughs. Time to head home I have to go past that little parking lot I had the problem with the other day and of course there's a car parked there again. They weren't in a handicapped spot, they were just having a sexual encounter in the middle of the day, FYI, your windows aren't that tinted!
Resent my emails to Harris-Kratovil today, still no answer. This is what I sent.
Sent to Kratovil, cc'd to Harris
I am resending this question as I have not yet heard any response, I look forward to your response.
Andy
I saw one of your ads last night, it claimed Harris is in favor of
raising the sales tax to, or by 23%. My question is when did he say it,
in what context, and where can I find it? I eagerly await your answer.

I am trying to figure out an ad I saw last night, it was a Kratovil ad
claiming you were in favor of raising the sales tax to, or by 23% . My
question is did you say it, or do you know what the Kratovil camp is
talking about? I eagerly await your answer.
Andy
Once again, you would think the one telling the truth would respond?

No Answer From Kratovil-Harris, Multiple Sclerosis and Temperature Change
I sent Harris and Kratovil both emails, CC'd the other on each, waiting to hear from them about the 23% sales tax issue. Saw the ad again tonight, not only has a footnote for Harris' page, but it also has a link for fairtax.org. I went there to see what I could see, don't see anything for Harris, just a bunch of places to donate money, can't wait for someone to point me in the right direction. You'd think the dude that's telling the truth would get back in touch?
Long day today, got up early, could not sleep. When I say early I don't mean like 9ish, I'm talking like 5 am, cramps and pain in my legs. Came down to the command center, had all the windows open, it was great, I think it was in the high 40's. Don't know about anyone else, but my MS kills me when the weather does this jumping around thing. Say 50 this morning, 86 tomorrow, who do I call about regulating the temperature? I need it to stay in one place, either summer or fall, not each.

Councilman Gardina Answers Chicken Question, Gives Chicken Response
I sent an obvious form letter out to all the local politicos in my area, current and hopefuls. Vince Gardina is the current district 5 councilman, my district. This was the answer I got from Mr Gardina, and my response to him. This isn't my first contact with the councilman, we danced around an issue of a nursery that is on county property, property that the county condemned throwing a few elderly couples out of their homes for a park they built somewhere else. I was no happier this time than I was the first!

I believe that the existing law is fair and protects residents, in close proximity to their neighbors, from having to deal with problems that are inevitable with live animals.

Mr Gardina,
Thanks for responding, this is the beauty of our system, we are free to disagree. I have been after the county for over a year to do something about feral cats in Perry Hall. As a disabled citizen it did me no good to have animal control drop off traps and tell me to catch them and give a call, and I assure you, feral cats are doing more damage, making more noise, and are reproducing faster then all female chickens that are penned up. As for odor, we are talking 2 to 3 chickens, not a new branch plant for Perdue. My neighbors dogs that do their business that is left all day, or longer, bark at each other, birds, the wind, you name it. As for you argument this is fair and appropriate for live animals, I am taking for granted you support changing the law to dogs only on 1 plus acre. Very weak argument Mr Gardina, the people of Perry Hall applaud your decision to not run again.

Another Surgery, Political Low Balling
My little buddy has surgery tomorrow morning, so this is going to be quick. The boy is having a plate put into his finger to reconnect the bone he broke in half. We are obviously hoping all goes well, and while the surgery isn't the most complicated, he is being put completely under general anesthesia, and that's always a worry. The boy is looking forward to it being over, and so are his mother and I.
One more thing, this election can't be over quick enough! The mud slinging has hit an uninspiring low. I hope people are smart enough to realize we are in serious trouble, and that they pay attention to what is being said. It amazes me how honorable people can do such dishonorable things when things don't go their way.

Swank, LDN,Chemotherapy, Vitamin D,Water Cure, Don't they Have One
Swank was good, but it was boring. LDN never got off the ground, but still has promise. The water cure is one I am going to look into real hard. I'm doing the vitamin D as we speak. I'm out of sorts in all ways. The Rebif injections are trying to do their part and keep status quo. I need to do one of these at a time I would think. The vitamin D is one I have been reading about and one the neuros are excited by, so there be my start point. I will work through my initial 12 weeks of 55000mg of D, do my blood test to check the level. and probably do it all over again.
I have to read what the plan is with the D. Will I be a dance instructor in a few weeks, or just a guy with a good range vitamin D level? What will happen to me if this works? Is it a cure, or a bandade? Right now t feels like a Quaalude, a Hugh Quaalude! I still feel like I should be in bed, but can't be, so I'm dying. The energizer Bunny could kick my ass right now, as I fell asleep during the process of said beating. Somebody wake me up so I can enjoy this beating from this bunny!
I will do one of these therapies until I'm told to stop. That way I will know when I come across the winner. I will have my surgery on Thursday to remove the port from my chest. I think the wife will be home from her clothing optional business trip to Saint Barts. This energy level has to come back up, doesn't it? It can't stay this low. If it does I'm buying a pack of sticks and a case of beer! Tomorrow has to be more energy available. Right now I'm using the last of my energy to make it up to the bed!

I Found A LDN Pharmacy, And How Much Experience Does A Presidential Candidate Need?
Are they making too much about the lack of experience Obama has on the one side and Palin has on the other? I think so, what does it really matter? Good or bad at what they do doesn't mean a thing, as long as they have the right people around them to tell them what to do. Did Truman drop the A-Bomb on his own, or did he have advisers to, well to advise him? Did Kennedy figure out how to go to the moon on his own? Saturday Night Live did a skit one time about Reagan. He bumbled around the oval office until it was only staff, then he did all the work as his advisers coward and worried about what to do.
The pilot and copilot of each team have one job at this point, get elected. That's what these conventions are all about, gamesmanship. It's not a question of if they can do the job, it's all about who is the most likable. Obama's team was coming off of their conclave on a roll. They said the right things, had the right people, wore the right buttons. Then today McCain's team made a left handed bank shot. They gave the women someone to vote for in place of Clinton and someone right enough to make McCain look not so left. Who cares if she only has a few months more experience then me? The R's stole the D's thunder and momentum today, well played!
I also had a productive day. I went up to Kaye's Pharmacy on Belair Rd to find out if they could compound LDN for me I have heard how hard it was to find a place to have the medicine made up. I hope this is a sign of things to come. Kaye's not only does it, they can do it in any dosage the doctor prescribes, and it's covered by insurance! Swish and swish! Now all I have to do is find a doctor to write me a script. I go on Tuesday to my primary, keep your fingers crossed and I may be cured by Wednesday of next week!

A Better Idiot Proof Garden System
These guys have idiot gardening down to a science! I am going to explore the watering system after, and if I ever get my bathroom finished! Read that garden site, I like it when people admit they don't know what things are called, or why they work. It's interesting. We are off to farmers markets tomorrow, yippy!
Oh yeah, one convention down, one to go. I could have put each one on for the cost of a camera and an Internet connection! The money that was wasted distresses me beyond words. I'm sure the other team's pep rally will be as opulent as this one was. It would have showed real balls for one of the teams to have had their convention online and sent every registered voter a $5 gas coupon they could print out and use. Guys, you missed your chance to shine!

Multiple Sclerosis, Crime And The Elections
Ever had one of those days when you can't concentrate on one thing for too long? I have them all the time. Instead of fighting it, I've decided to go with the flow. I contacted the guy who has the crime blog for the Baltimore Sun. I asked him if the murder map was in fact correct. He didn't know what I meant, so I explained there are only 2 white people murdered in Baltimore City this year, according to the map on the Sun crime page. He assured me he, or someone would look into, and fix the problem. He also told me that some of the murders they may not have known the race of the victim. Maybe they should leave the comparison map out if there is nothing to compare?
Swank or no Swank? I have to tell you, I am having a hard time accepting that cutting out fat could possibly make me tap dance again. Logic tells me that a healthier lifestyle leads to a healthier life. I've been smoke and alcohol free for 20 months. I think that may be the last time I felt good, my last smoke? If I was able to give up the smokes for my health, I'll be able to follow Swank, it just doesn't seem as big a deal as smoking. On the website about taking control of your MS they take it one step further. No dairy products along with the beef, no egg yokes, cakes, pies and donuts! Can't I just cut out Brussels sprouts? Oh yeah, I like them too, but I'm hoping that's part of why I can pull this off.
Is this election crap ever going to be over? They have been running for President for 2 years! I have decided it no longer matters who wins. Both sides have lied so much to cover their own asses they wouldn't know the truth without their special interest groups input. Who cares how many houses either one of them own? They are both rich and neither of them care what happens to me. Both sides are going to spend shameful amounts on their conventions and they mean absolutely nothing. We know who is getting nominated, so what's the point? It blows my mind how much has been spent on the election. We need to revamp the system, and we need to do it quick. It's taking longer, costing more, and we don't have a viable choice to pick.
I'm trying to stay on my feet, literally, and I'm supposed to care who's getting killed in the city, about eating a steak, or who's running for President? I don't. I have had my fill. I am going to do what I have to do, but I'm not confident, and I'm not excited. I will take something that hasn't been very fun and make it even more unfunner. It sure would be easier if the crime rate shrank, beef and cake was good for me, and Reagan was running for President again, but I know that not to be the case. In a perfect world I'd spend a few days kicking back at my mountain cabin, drink a few beers, have a smoke, and enjoy things without any worries, or thinking about what I'm going to eat!

What's The Truth About Global Warming?
Can anyone tell me what is actually going on with global warming? Does global warming actually exist, and if it does, are humans responsible for it? I hope you can get a more concise answer than I could find. Like so many things in our society, global warming is split along political lines. One side claims it's the liberal hippies on the the left forcing their way of life on everyone. The other side says it's the Facist right wing conservatives trying to keep their cash cow producing milk. Hey Lucy, you got some splainin to do!
Anti global warming says it is the science community lying so as not to loose funding for further research. Wow! Do they have a cure for MS, cancer, and diabetes but would loose too much money if they told us about it? Does that mean there isn't one conservative member of the religious right, driving a 3 mile/ SUV, listening to Jerry Falwell that believes in global warming? That's impossible! I read one page that said not using fossil fuels was the cause of global warming. Yep, if we use more fuel, the sun can't get through the smog! Makes sense in a twisted sort of way.
Pro global warming says we humans are releasing so much Co2 into the air that we will all be dead in a few weeks. I guess it doesn't matter if we have MS, cancer, or diabetes, we are dead anyway! So not one long haired, pot smoking, gay, left winged liberal riding a bicycle thinks it's all a shame? Not very likely. I like those commercials that say the world is saved if we all stop eating meat and live a vegetarian lifestyle.
It seems I can't get the jiggy on what's actually going on. There seems to be no one who will tell us the truth. Desperate times call for desperate measures! Ask any old person you know, any old person you see what they think. My parents walked to school all year long, up hill in the snow, both ways! Things are getting warmer! It used to snow like the beJesus here in Baltimore, but me and the boy wear shorts year round now! We had record snows in the Northeast last winter, or did we? I didn't see them! Man this is serious! OK, OK, OK, I'm OK. I'm not sure if I realized everything will work out, or if it was the tranquilizer dart I was hit with, but I'm OK. I forgot, the elections are this year, one of the 2 candidates ...OH CRAP!

How Much Does It Cost To Be President?
Man, they have sunk some coin into the quest to be the next President of the United States. How much does it cost to buy, I mean to win that gig? They have been running for 3 years, haven't they? I can't remember another election that has taken so long. Did they start earlier this time? They haven't even gotten started with the real nasty things yet! Both sides are guilty, so don't give me any of that my team is better then your team crap!
I saw that McCain raised 22 million dollars last month. May ask for what? In a month? If he needs to spend all that money to win, he is going to have a hard time being on a budget! Everything is so specialized now. Don't you wish we could go back to a time when you could just go someplace like Tate & McMann and have their ad guru, a guy name Stevens, throw a snappy ad together to woo public opinion your way. The problem is that now we have specialist that can figure these things out for us. I think what they specialize in is taking money! How much went to ads, and how much went to strategists?
I can hear the Democrats snickering about that, but they are not any better. They spent a ton of money in their primary, it did go down to the wire. Did they announce how much was spent up to this point? Why do I have a feeling I don't want to know? Can poor people run for office anymore? It is grotesque how much has been spent, and how much they will spend yet. Obama ask his people if they would give money to pay off Clinton's debt. He reminded them that if he hadn't won, he would have debt. Whaaaa? They spent millions on their campaigns they didn't have? Sounds like they both already thought they WERE President!
Isn't there something that can be done? Can't someone put a cap on how much is spent, and how long this whole mess goes on? The Spaniards have a good idea. They give the candidates a time frame to campaign, and a lump of cash to spend. I likes it! I see the hundreds of millions of dollars spent by the men and women that are trying to convince me that they offer what I need. Let me tell ya what I need. I need someone to make my hall bathroom handicap accessible. I need a new side porch, but I need one that can be changed at a later date if I need a ramp. Unless either of these guys can offer me those things, I'm not terribly sure I have confidence in either one!
