Back Surgery Survived, Feeling Better Everyday

Surgery went well, lived through it, didn't cry too much. The nurses were super nice to me, got me stuff, drinks, and drugs, pretty sweet set up. The renovations to St. Joseph's hospital were pretty, but they could use an equipment upgrade as well, a lot of things didn't work, like my IV poles. The janitorial staff all were using their cell phones, like when they cleaned my room at 10 PM, not my favorite thing. I have 10 staples holding the incision shut, the mother said they couldn't glue it shut, I'm too fat! More to follow.

Andy - thanks for updating us on your status, as inquiring minds wanted to know.

Cranky - I'm just disappointed my bikini days are over because of the scar.

awwww...so no more speedos for you, huh? lol! glad you're back, though!

Kim - My speedos will have to go to Micheal Phelps, I'm no longer aerodynamic.

Libby - I looked good too, for a 325 lb man in one!

Glad to read you're alive and well and on the mend! I hope things continue to improve for you.

Speedos, 325 lb. man--a little too early in the morning for THAT visual! (LOL) Sitck with skinny-dipping from now on...it won't put so pressure on the stitches.

Hi Andy:

Glad to see you are back and with your normal sardonic humor too.

Too bad about them not being able to remedy your fat issues, but alas, there is always dieting if one wants to.

Hope you have some great drugs for the pain and that you are doing better.

Linda - I'm stuck with that visual all day!

Anne - Dieting is for fat people, I'm big boned.

Thanks,
awb

Your bikini days are done?!?!?!?!?!

WHEN WERE THEY??????????

At least it is your back and not your front. You can still do your famous belly slide into the pool.

andy---you're not big-boned...you're "husky" (remember those sears jeans when we were kids?)

awb said...

Slammer - that was so close to a world record slide.

Libby - I got one pair of those at a time, either green or brown. It was like having a neon sign that said fatty!
