Multiple Sclerosis, Arrival of the Stimulator, and Knowing You're Lucky

I planned on talking about the the new nursery on county property, and about the 6 County highway vehicles, and the 12 or men all working to trim the grass off the curbs, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Bioness called today, the stimulator will be delivered tomorrow! That is so cool, I can't wait. I have to go Monday to have the stim calibrated to my leg, then physical therapy to make sure I use it right. It's times like this that I realize how lucky am, and how aware I am that this could all be worse.

I piss and moan a lot about the horrible hand I have been dealt, and that no one in the world has it worse than I do, and most days I will fight to defend my right to think so. I also pride myself in being pretty smart, especially for my height. Because of that I know I need to look around at the people that aren't faring as well, but I can't today, I'm too excited. I'm sorry for all the people that today isn't a great one, but I hope you don't begrudge me this time to smile. Just know I am aware of how good I have it, and I wish there was something I could do to make it better for you. If there was, I would be the first one in line to do it, really!

Sharing a piece of optimism helps other people!
I have enough bad news to share- I hope the stim is the business and you get a big benefit from it. I am made up to hear a good thing happening.
Lenny Bruce did a routine about "Some one always worse off than you are" Lenny pledged to find the guy who was worse off than him- the very worst- the last in the chain and punch the shit out of him!

Is hopscotch allowed or just the scotch part? Wear it in good health.

Thanks Richie, I haven't beaten the shit out of anyone in years, just the thought of it made me smile! And do I have a list of people I'd like to start with!
