Thinking Of Intrathecal Methotrexate, Screened In Porch

So I've been doing some reading about intrathecal methotrexate for the treatment of progressive forms of multiple sclerosis? Since I'm lucky enough to have joined the progressive club I probably should look into it, don't you think? I already tried mitoxantrone, so another trip to the oncology center is no big deal, gets me out of the house! They need to change the description of how it's administered, lumbar puncture, sounds so gruesome! Maybe call it lumbar introduction, hello lumbar! Sounds like something you'd read on an autopsy, victim suffered from a lumbar puncture. Stay tuned, I may be starting a new adventure?

I think I want a small screened in porch off of my bedroom, not to entertain, just to go sit? A place to escape to where I can feel the breeze, but not have to deal with the bugs. Nothing fancy or big, just a place to sit and plan my overthrow of the world. Room for 2 chairs and a table, figured I'd let the wife come out with me too. Oh, I am so planning an overthrow!

Hi Andrew,
My name is Meg and I am another MSer that blogs about life with this "fantastical" disease. I realize that you have not posted in quite a while, but your blog still remains on my massive MS Resource list since old postings can still be helpful to others. I am not intending this to be a comment up on your blog, but only as a means for me to make contact with you.

I am reaching out to many on that list, to other MSers about a recent idea I had for fundraising for MS. I call it the "Orange Man Project" and I explain it in this post (http://www.bbhwithms.com/orange-man-world-tour-2016/) I have NO idea whether this is something that will gain traction or ever get off the ground, but I aim to have fun while trying. Who knows, maybe Orange Man will be MSer's version of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that went viral last year. I have visions of seeing Orange Man on top of the Eiffel Tower, napping in Central Park or attending some huge concert. I realize that these are lofty ideas, but my folks always did tell me to dream big.

What I like is that it's not asking anyone for a donation; only to be crafty and a bit creative and to then share. If folks do, then a wonderful picture book could be created and that would monetize the project. I would love it if you would read the post, watch the "how to make an orange man" video, participate and then SHARE w/ me (and Orange Man) but also with other friends and family that might be interested in "playing."

Thanks so much!

Cheers!
Meg (aka BBH)
