The Wife Likes Me Again, Feeling Cold and MS, and HSA Insanity in Maryland

Back in good graces, fixed a killer meal, the girl cleaned up, and the boy got off the hook by working. It's amazing what a rib-eye and crab cake will do! Didn't get a cake, and didn't have time to make one, so settled on a Geresbeck' chocolate eclair. For those of you that have never had one, Geresbeck's chocolate eclairs are to die for. We cut it into thirds, and it's all you can do to eat that much. Got the wife a Snuggie, she is walking around in it like a monk from the inquisition. It's good to feel better about things, even if she didn't say anything, I felt bad.

I'm never cold, not sure if that's an MS thing or not. I know we don't tolerate the heat well, but I'm not sure about this part. I don't wear a coat, haven't had pants on in years, least not by choice. I don't get cold. The heat is set on 62, and I'm hot. Yes, I'm a big guy, but I've always been this way, even as a kid. People look at me like I'm a nut, not that it bothers me, they may be right! A guy asked me the other night at the bull roast, in the blizzard, if I wore shorts because I couldn't get pants on over my stimulator, I said no, why?

I have completely had it with the HSA program. I'd like to have someone show me how this helps the kids who can't pass the test. I am getting ready to pull all my resources, not money, but people I know, and attack this thing head on. This is a joke, this is Grasmick's way of justifying her existence. This is making the kids lives, and the families that support them, miserable. Someone needs to wake up and do something about this and really help these kids.

For ribeye and crabcake and chocolate éclair I'd forgive a lot more than a forgotten birthday. In fact, forgotten birthdays are the best kind. I'm pretty sure it means you don't get any older. :)

your birthday dinner sounds great. For my birthday last month I chose to make my hubby dinner. That was the best present to have him in town on my birthday. Do you have any leftover eclair?

Zoom - It was a good meal, I hope she forgets mine!

Cathy - The eclair went quick!
