Family Birthdays, and John Daniecki Concert

Had a nice day, we skipped church, felt like criminals! Went to the sister in laws to celebrate the fall birthdays, nice time. After that the wife and I did go to church, so we don't feel bad. John Daniecki gave a concert, a world renowned tenor at our like country church. It was excellent! He sang all kinds of music, and what a voice, almost as good as mine when I'm alone. Sat next to the minister, so I had to behave, not always something I'm very good at, but I pulled it off. A relaxing day in all, I'll take it.

We would have gone to the concert, but today was our boy's 19th birthday, so it was all about him today....(wait, isn't that EVERY day?)...anyway. Glad you were able to go and that it was a good concert. Did they have a good turn out? I was worried that the Ravens game would keep folks away in droves (including our Asst Pastor)

I find that whenever I have put off church and finally do go, something unexpected, delightful, insightful, or just plain good comes from it.

Not all the time, but most of the time.

Sounds like an all around good day at your place. ::smile::
