Surgery Finished, Doing Great

What a long day, particularly for the boy! He did great, and Union Memorial, especially the Hand Institute, was wonderful. They went the extra mile with everything they did, and made a tough day a little more bearable. They opened his little finger the length of the first joint, the joint closest to the hand, and part of the hand and put a small plate that was attached with a couple of pins. He will start PT on Monday. For now we are all shot, and he is in a good bit of pain. I'm hoping he is able to sleep tonight and tomorrow he has a less painful day. Thanks for all of you who have wished the boy well and kept him in your thoughts and prayers.
